Travis Pieper Obituary, Death – Travis Pieper, who was 91 years old and lived in Odessa, Texas, passed away on September 17, 2023. On December 31st, 1931, in the city of Roscoe, Texas, his parents, Myrtle Barnett Pieper and Samuel Monroe Pieper, welcomed him into the world. After graduating from Hermleigh High School, where he was the eighth kid out of ten, he enrolled at Texas Tech University.

During his time at Hermleigh High School, he was the ninth kid out of ten. In 1958, he moved to Odessa, where he lived and worked as a car salesman up until the year he retired. In 1952, he tied the knot with Bobbye Burns. Paul, Karen, and Pam are the three people who came into the world as a result of this union. After that, he wed Poppy Atyia, who passed away in 2004, and then in 2007, he married Virginia Shrum, who he continued to wed till the day he passed away.

Travis was one of his brothers, along with his parents, two sisters, and six brothers, who all preceded him in death. He is survived by his children: son Paul Pieper (Joyce) of Odessa, along with their children Megan Pieper and Morgan Case (Evan and a son on the way); daughter Karen Hildebrand (Doug) of Grand Junction, Colorado, along with their children and grandchildren Collin Hildebrand (Tori, Abigail and a son on the way), Chas Hildebrand (Janessa & Hudson), and Cameron Hildebrand; and daughter Pam Kimbrell In addition to his many nieces, nephews, and relatives,

Travis is survived by his sister Jewell Harris of Amarillo, as well as his stepdaughters Cindy Lou Allen (Barry) and Marcy Bradley (Logan), as well as their respective families. During Travis’ final days, the family had tremendous help from Home Hospice and Home Instead, as well as from their friends who cared for them, and the family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Pastor John Wamsley of Westminster Presbyterian Church.
