Tim Wendt Obituary, Death – On September 18, 2023, Timothy “Tim” Wendt, who had lived his entire life in the town of Wathena, Kansas, and had reached the age of 52, passed suddenly. Tim Wendt was brought into the world by his parents, Lewis and Shirley (Vessar) Wendt, on January 24, 1971 in the city of St. Joseph, in the state of Missouri.
Troy High School was where he completed his secondary education. Tim was employed with the Mid Cities Trucking Company, and there, he regarded all of the other employees as members of his extended family. In addition to it, Tim was employed at BMS. In addition to being a devoted sports fan, Tim served on the board of directors for the local leisure center.
He not only worked as a broadcaster for all of the competitions but also acted as the official statistician for all of the teams. Tim enjoyed spending time with his boys going fishing and hunting, riding his ATV, playing cards with his father and other friends, and simply hanging out with his nephews and other friends. These were some of Tim’s favorite pastimes.
Tim and Jenny McVey exchanged vows and became husband and wife on October 24, 1992 in Elwood, Kansas. She was able to escape the residence without being injured. His maternal and paternal grandparents, his niece Malorie Adkins, and his nephew Kyle “Whitey” Smith all passed away before he did. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Riggs, his mother and father-in-law, Clinton and Joanne McVey, his sister-in-law Natalie (Bryan) Adkins, his sister-in-law Brenda (Rob) Karn, his brother-in-law Rodney McVey, and a vast number of nieces, nephews, and relatives, in addition to a limitless number of friends and his dog.
