Randy Carr Obituary, Death – On Monday, September 18, 2023, Randy E. Carr, 70, went away at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was a Noblesville local. His parents, Leo and Mary (Phillips) Carr, welcomed him into the world on March 14, 1953, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was raised in the Town of Rocky Ripple, which is a part of Indianapolis, Indiana, together with a large number of his extended family members and numerous siblings and sisters.

A member of UA Local 440 Plumbers, Steamfitters & HVACR Service Technicians for about twenty years, Randy joined after joining the union as did his father Leo, several uncles, and several relatives. He belonged to the union’s second generation. In addition, he managed Preventative Maintenance Inc. for several years, helping countless friends and families stay cool when their air conditioners malfunctioned.

Randy enjoyed a wide range of hobbies that he did throughout his life. He enjoyed reading John Grisham novels, taking delight in tending to the plants in his backyard, and running the mini-marathon on several times. He discovered later in life that floating in his pool was soothing, and he has always been a devotee of well-made, cozy running shoes.

Along with his wife, Deborah Carr, ten grandkids, ten nieces and nephews, and his siblings, Cathi (Dale) Whittleton, Tim (Bill) Carr, and Sande Carr, as well as his children Ann (Ron) Gillum, Scott (Kallan) Carr, Jordan Carr, Anthony Worl, and Aaron Worl, survive Randy Carr. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Brad, Nick, and Daniel Carr, in addition to his parents. All his brothers had died before him.
