Miranda Riley Obituary, Death – With deep grief and love, we say goodbye to our beloved son Riley Cole Miranda, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the young age of 19. Riley’s father Terry, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings Tyler and Jordan, sister Kaitlyn (Jody), and everyone of his family will treasure his memories.
The deceased has been cremated, and a Celebration of Life will be held at South Side Memorial Chapel, 8310 104 Street, Edmonton, on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at 1:00 pm. Riley loved his family very much. There was a big hug, a kiss, and lots of “I love yous” every day. Regardless of his circumstances, he was always happy. Not only was he an iPad wizard, but he could do anything on the device. He would look through family pictures every day and compile them to hang on his wall.
There had to be a TV on all the time since Tree House was his favorite show. He took his time to color the perfect pictures since he loved coloring. He used to hang his pictures on his walls with pride. He had sympathy and love for others. He was also a joker, and he liked to crack light jokes to make us laugh. He laughed in the truest way. It was the holidays he loved.
Though Christmas was his favorite holiday, he would eagerly anticipate the next one as the previous one came to a conclusion. Two trees he kept up all year. Not because of the gifts, but rather because of the charm of the occasion, the gleam of a tree, and family get-togethers. Riley used to tell us all the time to slow down and savor the little things in life. Riley’s bravery and tenacity throughout his life will always be remembered with love. Our recollections of him will always include his infectious laugh and smile.
