Barry Allen Obituary, In Loving Memory Of Barry Allen

Barry Allen Obituary, Death – On September 17th, 2023, Barry Rene Allen, a much-loved father, son, brother, uncle, and grandfather, went away suddenly. He was unexpectedly taken from his family. On July 29th, 1961, he entered this world in Berea, Kentucky.

He is survived by his mother Mary Allen, his sons Benjamin (Birch) Allen and Nick Allen, and his grandchild Alice Allen, as well as his brothers and sisters Peggy Austin, Lapana Jean Bolaski (Larry), Dianna Joy Fussell, Michael P. Allen (Betty), Kenneth Allen (Caryn), Amy C. Arenas, C. Samuel Allen, and Christy Gregory (Jaime Harrington), and a large number of nieces and nephews.

His mother, Mary Allen, his father, Paul Allen, his brother Benjamin Allen, and his brother-in-law Charles Austin all passed away before Barry. Barry was like a blazing torch in the breeze. He was the very embodiment of the phrase “Do as I say, not as I do.” You could find him in his element in the woods.

Hunting deer; on the lake, fishing for the biggest bass or catfish; or in the wind, on his motorcycle, twisting the backroads feeling life to the fullest possible extent. He was a devoted animal lover who cared for a wide variety of creatures, including racoons, a snake, a hawk, and a family of little canines, all of which he cherished deeply.

Berea, Kentucky was his home for the first part of his life. Later, he and his family relocated to Unity, New Hampshire, and Newport, New Hampshire. After that, they lived in Richmond, Kentucky, for a while. He spent the last years of his life in Berea, Kentucky, assisting his mother with household chores. He had a lot of affection for his children and the rest of his family, and he was ecstatic to become a grandfather. He was cherished by all around him.

At the Davis and Powell Funeral Home in Berea, Kentucky, a wake will be held for Barry on Tuesday, the 26th, from 6 to 8 o’clock in the evening, and a funeral ceremony will take place on Wednesday, the 27th, at 11 o’clock in the morning. The venue of the Celebration of Life that will take place immediately after the service will be disclosed shortly before the conclusion of the event. Everyone who was acquainted with Barry and his family is cordially invited to attend.
