Robert Charlesworth Obituary, Death – After a courageous battle with cancer, Robert Charlesworth passed away on September 7, 2019, at the age of 94. The news of his departure was shared by his family with a great deal of sorrow. Robert’s children, Will, Patrick, Edie (Murray), Tina (Phil), Robin, Madeline, and Sean; grandchildren, Megan, Katherine (Dominic), Kelley (Michael), Jessica, Daniel (Maria), Peter, and Sarah (Brennan); and great-grandchildren, Brianna and Charlotte, will fondly remember their father.
Madeline Schmidt and Madeleine Charlesworth, both of whom are his sisters-in-law, as well as a large number of his nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends, are also grieving his passing. Veronica, Robert’s wife, and David, Robert’s brother, both passed away before Robert. Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, located at 10011-114 Street NW in Edmonton, will be the location where prayers will be performed on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. On Friday, September 20, 2019, at one o’clock in the afternoon,
a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church located at 12810-111 Avenue NW in Edmonton. The funeral service will be followed by interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Edmonton, which can be found at 14611 Mark Messier Trail. Because of the kindness and consideration that was shown to Robert and his family by Capital Care Norwood Palliative Care, our family would like to convey our most sincere gratitude to them.
