Phillip Beattie Obituary, In Loving Memory Of Phillip Beattie

Phillip Beattie Obituary, Death – We are deeply saddened to inform you that Phil, a beloved member of our community, passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. Phil was the cherished son of the late Janet, Brown, and Tangi, and he held a special place in the hearts of all his whanau.

He was not only a loving brother, uncle, and cousin but also the closest friend and “bro” to David. Starting from Friday, September 22, 2023, Phil will be resting at 70 Kitchener Street in Wairoa. This will be a place where friends and family can come to pay their respects and share their memories of Phil.

The whanau is hoping to bring Phil back to Kitchener Street sometime this morning (Thursday) between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. A traditional Māori tangihanga, a funeral service to celebrate Phil’s life, will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 11 a.m. This service will provide an opportunity for all those who knew and loved Phil to come together.

Share stories, and remember the special moments they shared with him. Following the tangihanga, Phil will be laid to rest in the peaceful surroundings of the Wairoa Lawn Cemetery. Phil’s passing has left a void in our lives, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

His warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering friendship touched the lives of many. As we say our farewells, let us remember Phil for the joy and love he brought into our lives. Words, in the Māori tradition, convey our deepest farewell to Phil as he embarks on his final journey. While we mourn his loss, we also celebrate the beautiful soul he was and the lasting impact he had on our lives. Phil, you will always hold a special place in our hearts, and your memory will continue to bring us comfort and inspiration.
