Larry Springer Obituary, Death – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Larry R. Springer. Larry, aged 70, peacefully departed this world on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, Wisconsin.
Larry’s journey began on January 6, 1953, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, as the son of the late Raymond and Helen (Forer) Springer. He honorably served his country for 13 ½ years in the US Army and continued to demonstrate his unwavering commitment to community and service as a proud member of the Stoughton American Legion Post 59.
Larry was a man of many passions. His love for car racing was evident to all who knew him, and he dedicated his time to support and cheer on many friends throughout the years. He had an appreciation for automobiles and Harley Davidsons, and his small engine shop was a testament to his dedication to his craft.
Larry’s legacy lives on through his loving family, including his four children: Angela (Frank) Seitler, Cheri (Sonny) Giesfeldt, Brant (Liesl) Springer, and Jared (Sara) Springer. His eight cherished grandchildren, Emily, Alexander, Isaac, Nolan, Brynn, Tyler, Sebastian, and Isaac, were a constant source of joy and pride for him.
Larry’s memory is also carried forward by his siblings: Diane (Tom) Elsen, Linda (Marvin) Elsen, Mary Springer, Steve (Julie) Springer, Ray (Cindy) Springer, and Dan (Janice) Springer. He leaves behind a legacy of love that extends to nieces, nephews, and countless other relatives and friends.
Larry is now reunited with his beloved wife, Pam, in eternal peace. He is also preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Suzanne and Carol.
A celebration of Larry’s life will be held to honor his memory. Details of the service will be shared at a later date.
During this difficult time, we find solace in the memories we shared with Larry and the impact he had on our lives. We appreciate the love and support of our family and friends, and we invite you to join us in celebrating the life of a remarkable man.
