Keegan Fall Obituary, Death – Keegan Earl Fall, 28, of Pittsburgh, formerly of Morgantown, WV, died at home with his mother on September 14, 2023, after a brave battle with Stage IV colon cancer. Keegan was born in Pittsburgh on October 27, 1994, to Denise Ruschell and Phillip (Vicki) Fall. Keegan earned a BA in Biology and a Chemistry minor from Robert Morris University in 2018. Paramedic Keegan joined Northwest EMS after college.
Because it fit him, Keegan liked the work. He loved helping others. Even new patients felt cared for by him. Keegan loved domestic and international travel. These trips let Keegan explore his daring side. Keegan studied in Ireland for a semester. Aquatic passion kept him in lakes and oceans as a licensed diver. Scuba SAR certification followed for Keegan. Sailing, athletics, and outdoor socializing were Keegan’s hobbies.
A huge heart and playful nature made him easy to love. He loved sharing his adventures and was infectious. His family always said, “Not all who wander are lost.” This describes Keegan well. Everyone enjoyed his journey. Keegan put family first. He was anchored. Through every up and down, they supported him. Keegan was the only of his five grandchildren in Pittsburgh. At every family gathering and holiday, Dad loved representing the grandchildren.
While unwell, Keegan checked on his mother, who became his caregiver this year. Grandparents always made Keegan smile the most. He flooded their hearts with love. Mack and Keegan are still inseparable as children. It was commonly known that Keegan admired his brother. The big brother role was his favorite and proudest. He adored Mack and would do anything to see him graduate from Navy training. His admiration for Mack will never end.
