Kaycee Desjarlais Obituary, Death – Kaycee Lee Desjarlais, who lived in Fishing Lake, had reached the age of thirty when she passed away on September 7th, 2023. The day of her passing was also September 7th. Ten years of her life had been spent there.
Kaycee is survived by her mother, Sandra Desjarlais, who cherished her daughter dearly; her siblings, Janis, Morgan (Loretta), Christina, Wilson, Whitley (Lyndon), Nichole, Michelle, Vernon Jr., and Danielle; her grandmothers, Mabel Aulotte and Julie Moore; and a large number of nieces and nephews. Kaycee was deeply loved by all of her family members.
Additionally, Kaycee will be remembered by her grandfather, Vernon Jr., as well as a large number of her cousins. Before Kaycee was born, her biological father, Kenneth Desjarlais Sr., as well as her adoptive parents, Judy Faithful and Vernon Aulotte, as well as her paternal grandparents, Christina and Joe Desjarlais, Wilson Moore, and Dan Aulotte, as well as her sister, Jodi Faithful, as well as her nephews Trayvon and Jesus, all passed away.
On Thursday, September 21, a wake will be held at the Fishing Lake Communiplex, which is located within the Fishing Lake Metis Settlement. The wake will be held in memory of the deceased. The first step of the procession will be taken at eleven o’clock in the morning in Grace Gardens.
On Friday, September 22, at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon, there will be a Funeral Service performed at the Fishing Lake Communiplex. Within the boundaries of the Metis Settlement at Fishing Lake can be found the Fishing Lake Communiplex. The funeral service will be presided over by Pastor Maxine Desjarlais, and the burial will take place in the Fishing Lake Community Cemetery, which is located within the Fishing Lake Metis Settlement.
