Jimmie Hanson Obituary, A Cherished Soul Sadly Passed Away

Jimmie Hanson Obituary, Death – It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of my uncle, Jimmie Hanson’s passing, which occurred early this morning at 2:00 AM due to complications from COVID-19.

My father, Patrick Hanson, his brother, and my aunt, Michele Copperud, who is also his wife, have joined forces to craft this message for Facebook. James Joseph Hanson, affectionately known as Jimmy to his friends and family, was born on Halloween in 1948, just a few days shy of celebrating his 75th birthday.

Jimmie was an extraordinary individual who left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him. He had a unique sense of humor that could light up any room, a deep love for his family and friends, an unwavering commitment to helping others both in his profession and beyond, an infectious enthusiasm for the State Fair, incredible harmonica-playing skills, and a resilience that carried him through the decades.

He was also a fervent music lover, with a particular fondness for Bob Dylan. If you had the privilege of knowing Jimmie, I am certain you have your own cherished memories of him. He was a shining light on this often-dark planet, and his absence will be deeply felt by a multitude of people. Plans for the funeral and memorial service are currently in the works.

Since Michele doesn’t have a Facebook account, I will post updates about these arrangements as soon as they are finalized. Additionally, if you have any memories of Jimmie that you’d like to share in the comments, I will ensure Michele receives them. Your heartfelt messages and support are greatly appreciated during this difficult time.
