James Feeley Obituary, Death – To my brother James, who is located at a distant location: You have already traversed the pit of despair and come out on the other side, so there was never a moment when I questioned whether or not you would emerge from this world victorious in some shape or form. There are times in life when we are unable to accomplish something because of the circumstances we are in.
You were smart, you were brave, you were really kind, you were concerned, and you looked out for me. I really appreciate all of those qualities in you. I am grateful. I can’t even begin to fathom what it would be like to lose you without even having the chance to say my farewells to you first. I can’t even begin to conceive it. I am unable to do so.
Never in a million years did I think I would be in a situation where I would have to hear the words “you’re gone.” I never even considered the possibility. What a tender age, and how swiftly they grew up. I sincerely hope and pray that is not the situation in any way, shape, or form. Even if it could be from a more elevated vantage point in the years to come, I have no doubt that you will continue to keep a watchful eye on me. My need for you is so strong that it can never be satiated completely. J, you have my undying love and support, and I look up to you as if you were my own brother.
