Dufresne and Myrtle Zeringue Dufresne, he grew up in the heart of Wallace, surrounded by the love of his family.

He is survived by his brother, Leroy Dufresne, and a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A visitation was held in his honor on Monday, October 4, 2021, at St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie, LA, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment took place in St. Philip Cemetery Mausoleum.
