Ethel M. Spieke Obituary, Death – We regret to inform you of the demise on September 15, 2023, at the age of 94, of Ethel M. Spieker, a cherished member of the Kenosha, Wisconsin community. Ethel left behind a legacy that her family and friends will always treasure. Her life was a monument to love, family, and kindness. Born into a caring and kind family, Ethel was raised by Albert and Florence Kroening (Burr).

Even though they are no longer physically with us, those who knew and loved them will always carry their memories with them. Her son-in-law Wayne Wojciechowski and her children Steven Spieker (Vincencina), Kurt Spieker (Michele), and Karla Montemurro (Anthony) survive Ethel. Her grandkids, Elisabeth Montemurro, Megan Fry (Zach), Erin Koceja (James), Scott Spieker, Emily Riedler (Jeremiah), and Derek Spieker, also remember her.

Unfathomable happiness was bestowed upon Ethel by her great-grandchildren, Maddalena Koceja, Avery, Isla Fry, Sofia, and Graham Riedler Her siblings, James Kroening and Kathleen Merten, stayed near to Ethel’s heart during her journey, and her family was very important to her. On Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 9:30 AM, there will be a viewing to pay respects and offer condolences at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (7400 39th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53142). At 11:30 AM, there will be a Mass of Christian Burial at the same site after the visitation.

It will be an occasion for loved ones to be together and console and support one another in remembrance of Ethel’s extraordinary life. The family respectfully requests that contributions be made in Ethel’s honor to your preferred charity rather than flowers. This act of kindness is a lovely way to preserve her memory and carry on her legacy of generosity and compassion. Throughout her life, Ethel M. Spieker experienced love, joy, and enduring relationships with everyone in her vicinity. All those who had the honor of knowing her will remember her with appreciation and warmth, even though she will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace for all eternity.
