Calvin Brown Obituary, Death – Calvin Leroy Brown, 72, of Summit Point, died Saturday, June 30, 2018 at home, surrounded by his beloved family, while under the care of hospice. He was born on April 16, 1946, in Clear Brook, Virginia, to the late Harry Randolph Brown and Mary Eliza Brown. He was a landscaper for Seneca. Cal was born on April 28, 1964, in Malden, Massachusetts. He was the cherished son of Carole A. (Leidinger) Finn and Calvin N. Brown Sr. His family relocated to Chelsea, where he grew up and received his education.
He went to Chelsea High School. Cal had worked and mastered various sorts of roofing throughout his life. He was highly enthusiastic about everything he did. He worked as a cab driver for Royal Taxi in Revere and briefly for Everett Aluminum. Cal’s passion was living each day as it came. He will be remembered for his kind heart and sharp sense of humor, as well as his quick wit. Cal adored cats and appreciated rock music and video games.
He was obsessed with his bike and was rarely seen without it. Above all, he was a caring son, husband, brother, uncle, and friend who will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He was the late Alysia (Pelletz) Brown’s adored husband. Christine S. Puccilli of Everett, the late Belinda D. Miscioscia, Stephen D. of Odessa, FL, the late William J. Brown, Korinna J. McGinley of Everett, Lisa-Marie Cyr of Stuart, FL, and Dominic F. Brown of Revere were among those who died.
He is also survived by a large number of nieces and nephews. His wife, Lynda Jean Underwood Brown, survives, as do two sons, Carl Brown of Summit Point and Calvin Brown, Jr. of Middleway, three daughters, Belinda Brown of Summit Point, Barbara Brown of Ranson, and Cynthia Brown of Charles Town, four brothers, Johnny and Carl Brown of Winchester, Clyde and Ronald Brown of Inwood, three sisters, Mary Sharon and Rosie Brown, eleven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Luke and John Brown, as well as one brother and three sisters.
