Bennett Kent Obituary, Death – Bennett Kent Stacks, our drummer, lost his courageous battle against metastatic cancer, which he had been fighting for a very long period. He had been battling this disease for quite some time. This information is going to be difficult for both of us to share with you. Scream’s forward momentum has always been driven by Kent, the band’s founder and the original heartbeat. He has always been the driving force behind the band’s forward movement.
In spite of the fact that there have been times when we have been had to carry on with our job without Kent, we have never stopped being aware of the reality that he is irreplaceable. The entire class consisted of simply him and the teacher. Kent was a really one-of-a-kind drummer, but he was also an excellent angler, a skillful carpenter, and a rail enthusiast with a deep-seated passion for the pastime of railroading. In addition to these skills, Kent was also an experienced carpenter.
Throughout the course of his career, Kent was a part of a wide array of well-known punk and hardcore bands, including The Suspects, Spitfires United, Alleged Bricks, as well as others. In addition to that, he widened his musical horizons by engaging in concerts with other musical groupings, such as The Daryl Davis Band and The Old Dominion Trio, amongst others.
His daughter Jennifer, his wife Andrea, whom he had been married to for the previous four decades, his brothers Kurt, William, and Henry, as well as a myriad of band mates, friends, and admirers, will carry on without him.
