Alvin B. Ewing Obituary, Death – Alvin B. Ewing, Jr., a citizen of Monroe, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. He was 85 years old at the time of his passing. Alvin B. Ewing, Jr. had lived to the age of 85 at the time of his death. When he passed away, he had already reached that age mark in his life. On the morning of Saturday, September 23, 2023, the family will be present at Bold Springs Church, which can be found at 7625 Bold Springs Church Road in Monroe, Georgia 30656, to meet guests beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing through 11:00 AM.
This will take place beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing through 11:00 AM. Up until the beginning of the funeral service, this will take place. The church is going to be the setting for all of this to take place. Following that, at eleven in the morning, there will be a Memorial Service, which will be presided over by the Reverend Ric Turpin. The memorial service will be held in honor of the person who has passed away. Alvin was a devoted adherent of the doctrine that was taught at the Bold Springs Church, which he attended regularly as a member of the congregation there.
He had a lengthy career at General Motors and racked up a lot of years there before deciding to retire and join the National Guard. He worked for the corporation for a long time before taking his retirement. Prior to the demise of their son, Alvin Ewing Jr., both of Alvin Ewing Sr. and Ruth (Pettit) Ewing passed away individually. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Jane Ewing of Monroe, Georgia; children, William Ewing of Monroe, Georgia, Carol and Randy Ross of Monroe, Georgia, and Timothy Boone of Dover, Tennessee; brother, Henry Ewing of Dacula, Georgia; sister, Rose Archer of Dacula, Georgia; grandchildren, Aaron and Anslee Ross, Taylor Boone, and Mariah Boone; great grandchildren, Atticus Ross and Layne Boone; and numerous other family members and friends.
