Tijuana Dent Murder-Suicide – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an investigation into the incident that occurred over the weekend and resulted in the deaths of two people. The investigation is being led by the Columbia County Coroner’s Office. According to Major Steve Morris of the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, deputies from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence in the city of Evans situated at 880 Willow Lake around 3:45 p.m. on Sunday after receiving a report of shots fired in the area.
The location of the residence was in the city of Evans. They discovered a man and a woman, both suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head, inside the house, between the dining area and the restroom that was located in the room that was closest to the front door. Both victims were found between the dining area and the restroom.
Both victims were found to be deceased at the scene of the incident. Larry Jacobs, who is 51 years old, and Tijuana Dent, who is 49 years old, have been named as the people believed to be responsible for the crime. When the body of Jacobs was discovered, there was a firearm located nearby, and this was discovered at the same time. On Monday,
Morris declared that the probe is being handled as a death investigation, despite the fact that he did not confirm that this occurrence was a murder-suicide. He did, however, affirm that the investigation is continuing. Despite the fact that Morris did not state unequivocally that the occurrence was a murder-suicide, this is the conclusion that may be drawn.
