Thomas Mahoney Obituary, Death – With the heaviest of hearts, we share the deeply saddening news of the passing of our fellow Triploli Pool League shooter, Thomas Mahoney. It has come to our attention that Tommy left us two years ago, and we were only informed today. Life has a way of slipping by us too quickly, leaving us with regrets.
Tommy was not just a fantastic pool player; he was a force of nature with a no-nonsense attitude. You either liked him or you didn’t, but no one could deny his unwavering passion for the game of pool and his boundless compassion for those he held dear.
For me, Tami Lyn, I had the privilege of being good friends with Tommy, even partnering with him in a tournament in Portland. I fondly recall the days when he, Jeremy Grass, Leslie Crouse, and I rode together to that tournament. It was an absolute blast, filled with camaraderie and shared love for the game.
Today, our hearts ache as we remember Tommy’s dedication to our league. He served us faithfully FROM THE BEGINNING, starting on February 6, 2013, and continued for almost two years until life began to slow him down.
Bless you, Thomas Mahoney, for the memories, the competition, and the camaraderie. You leave behind a community of friends and fellow pool players who will miss you dearly, and your legacy in our league will live on.
If I come across an obituary, I will be sure to share it with everyone.
With heavy hearts,
Les Crouse – League Operator Tami Lyn Sears – League Operator
