Tara Gowrie Obituary, Death – After a courageous and uphill battle against a protracted illness, Tara Lynn Martin, age 45, died away on Thursday, August 31, 2023. Tara was born on December 11, 1977, and she spent her childhood and high school years in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. After moving away for a while, she spent a lot of time in the Spring Green and Madison areas.
Our dearly departed Tara was a wonderful cook, a musician with a lot of talent, a compassionate funeral director, and a mental health advocate. Tara was a passionate reader and watcher of horror movies and books, as well as a fan of the macabre and the supernatural. She was especially fond of canoe trips, horseback excursions, and the great outdoors of Wisconsin.
Tara is survived by her son, Avery Sandker, her parents, Jeff and Lynn Martin, her sister Allison Bloom and her children, Miriam and Coco Bloom, her grandmothers, Shirley Lewis and Mary Martin, as well as her extended relatives and friends. Tara was born in the United States. Her grandfathers, Ken Lewis and Wayne Martin, as well as an excessive number of her acquaintances, had passed away before her.
Our memories of Tara will live on in our hearts forever. I pray that she is finally at peace and no longer suffers. We regret to inform you that on August 28, 2018, we had to farewell Mark Gowrie, who resided in Medford, Massachusetts. He will be missed.
