(Bob) Hardin, who had resigned from the agency and was 70 years old, passed away on September 15, 2023. 1974 was the beginning of Bob’s career in law enforcement, when he joined the Staunton Police Department. Bob spent the majority of his career in the military working in patrol and worked his way up through the ranks. After some time, he was given the position of Sergeant over his patrol shift.
