Robert Chalmers Obituary, Death – It is with a heavy heart that the other members and officers of the organization share the news that Life Member Robert “Bobby” Chalmers has passed away; as a result, they are saddened to report the news themselves. Before Bob joined Carlisle in 1972, he was a member of Greenwood, which he had joined the previous year. Bob’s membership in Greenwood began the year before he joined Carlisle.
Before that, Bob had been a part of the Greenwood organization. Later in the year 1987, he joined the Memorial Volunteer Fire Company, an organization in which he has remained a member ever since, finally working his way up through the ranks to acquire the status of Life Member in the group. He signed up to be a volunteer with the Memorial Fire Company.
During his time working for the company, Bob held a couple of different positions over the course of his tenure there. In the beginning of his tenure, he was the Building Superintendent, and then in the later years of his employment, he was the Director at Large. In addition to that, he spent a sizeable chunk of his life working for the Fire Police. His tenure there spanned several decades.

The Rogers-Hovatter Funeral Home in Milford, Delaware will be open to guests on Friday, September 22, and Saturday, September 23, from 1100 to 1300 local time. These times are in Milford, Delaware. The burial will follow the conclusion of the funeral service, which will begin at 13:00 hours and take place in the Milford Community Cemetery. The funeral service will take place at the cemetery.
