Pat Vinson Thomas entered our lives several years ago, and over the past six months, we’ve grown especially close. Although she was my husband’s grandmother and technically my grandmother-in-law, she lovingly insisted on being called “Grandma” and treated me as her granddaughter. I am deeply honored to have shared a special bond with her, particularly as my own grandparents passed away when I was too young to remember or get to know them. Pat filled a void in my heart, and I will forever treasure our precious moments together.
For those who had the privilege of knowing Pat, it was evident that her love for Jesus was unwavering, and her love for people was boundless. She exuded warmth, kindness, and a genuine care for others. Pat’s love was a guiding light, showing us all how to embrace life with compassion and grace.
While the loss of our dear Grandma Pat leaves a void that cannot be filled, we find solace in the knowledge that she is now at peace, free from pain and suffering. Her spirit remains with us, and her love continues to inspire us.
During this time of sorrow, we are deeply grateful for the love and support of our family and friends. Your thoughts, prayers, and condolences provide comfort and remind us that we are not alone in our grief. For your kindness and empathy, we are profoundly appreciative.
In the days ahead, we will come together to celebrate the beautiful life of Pat Vinson Thomas and the profound impact she had on all of us. Details for a memorial service or gathering will be shared as they are finalized.
Pat, you will forever remain in our hearts as a symbol of unconditional love, faith, and compassion. Your memory will continue to guide us, and your legacy of love will inspire us to follow your example.
With love and cherished memories,
