Pasquale ‘Patsy’ Taverna Obituary, Death – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Pasquale Rocky ‘Patsy’ Taverna on September 18, 2023, at the age of 77, at the Gold Coast University Hospital. Patsy was a beloved husband and soulmate to Heather, a cherished father to Paul (in loving memory) and Tony, and a loving father-in-law to Nicolina and Stacey. He was also a treasured Bello Nonno to Emily, Olivia, Samuel, Britney, and Domenic.
Patsy’s reunion with his son Paul brings comfort to those left behind, and we can imagine him strumming his guitar and singing in the heavens above. Known for his warm heart and infectious smile, Patsy’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him. His love and laughter brightened the lives of all who crossed his path, and his legacy will continue through the generations he leaves behind.
A Requiem Mass to honor Patsy Taverna’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 1:30 pm at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Splatt St Swan Hill. Following the service, Patsy will be laid to rest beside his son Paul in a private family interment at the Echuca Cemetery. In this time of mourning, we remember Patsy for his enduring love and kindness. His memory will continue to bring comfort and solace to those who were privileged to share in his life.
