Kathy Serina Obituary, Death – We are passing along the sad news that Kathy Serina, our beloved Farm Kitchen Manager, died away not too long ago, and it is with a heavy heart that we do so. Since we started this business more than a decade ago, Kathy, who is a superb chef and reigns supreme in the kitchen, has been an integral part of our team. Kathy, who had been battling illness on and off for the previous few years.
Kathy’s fight against cancer was an up and down one. Many of the mouthwatering recipes that customers like you have been accustomed to purchasing from our Farm Store were created by Kathy, and she deserves a lot of the credit. Undoubtedly talented, Kathy’s products included everything from jams and preserves to pickles and spices, not to mention our world-famous cheesy bread, which was among her many accomplishments.
Because she was talented, humorous, quick-witted, an animal lover, and a brilliant educator, Kathy’s legacy will continue to be passed down from generation to generation at Lake Meadows. In honor of Kathy, we want to encourage all of you to take some time out of your day to express your gratitude to the people who are closest to you, including family and friends, by telling them how much they mean to you.
Telling someone you love them does not require much effort, but doing so at a time when they are not expecting it can make all the difference in the world. The gift of life is incomparably valuable. And so is Kathy, who holds a significant place in our hearts. We are going to love and miss you very much, Chef, and we know that we will miss you very much.
