Dan Kirby Suicide, Chelmsford Essex, TCR UK Touring Car Championship Competitor Has Died

Dan Kirby Suicide, Death – The motorsport world is buzzing as Dan Kirby prepares to return to the TCR UK Touring Car Championship. Kirby is making a comeback from the fast-paced world of motorsport, promising thrills and cutthroat competition. He will be driving for Zest Racecar Engineering, a squad noted for its passion and excellence in the area, in a CUPRA Leon Competición TCR.

Kirby has a strong track record in the championship, most last competing in 2021. During that season, he accomplished a crucial milestone by capturing his first championship victory in a dramatic race at Brands Hatch. His track expertise was further shown by many podium finishes throughout the season, even despite driving for Power Maxed Racing in an older CUPRA TCR. Kirby wasted little time getting acquainted with the newer CUPRA Leon Competición TCR as the 2017 season began at Snetterton.

During last week’s season premiere at Donington Park, he had the opportunity to test drive the car, providing him a taste of what’s to come. Zest Racecar Engineering, led by Malcolm Cleland, is returning to the competition and has already named Carl Boardley as a member of their roster. With Kirby joining the squad, Zest Racecar Engineering is prepared to make a major impression in the 2023 season, qualifying them for the newly established Teams Championship.

Despite the fact that the trade was completed in a relatively short amount of time, Kirby is excited to return to the championship. “I’m delighted to be back for another season in TCR UK,” he says, expressing his racing passion and competitive attitude. After taking a break from motorsport for the last 18 months, I’m eager to pick up where I left off and, ideally, be in contention for the championship by the end of the season.” Recognizing the strong competition ahead, Kirby credits the organizers for the power and attractiveness of TCR UK.

He thanks Zest Racecar Engineering for their efforts in making this exciting comeback possible. Kirby is excited and determined to take the track at Snetterton and embrace the challenges and chances that await him in the TCR UK Touring Car Championship. Racing enthusiasts can surely anticipate an exciting season ahead.
