Charles Gray Obituary, Shepherdsville, Family And Friends Mourns

Charles Gray Obituary, Death – Charles Adrian Gray, who resided in Shepherdsville, Kentucky and was 80 years old at the time of his death on September 18, 2023, passed away in his home. He was a native of Hardin County, worked his way up through the Ambrake corporate ladder, and eventually retired from the military after serving in the United States Army.

He was a devoted admirer of nature and the great outdoors, and he delighted in pursuits such as hunting, fishing, and the practice of giving food for wildlife. Especially when he was able to take his grandchildren and great-grandchildren for rides on his four-wheeler, he treasured the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ruby McKenzie, his sweetheart, as well as his parents Garland F. and Alberta Mitchell Gray, as well as his sister Linda Faye Page, all passed away before to his passing. He was the only member of his immediate family that had made it through life. Surviving members of his family include his daughter, Kristie Denise Kelly (Danny), of Lexington; three brothers, Terry Lee Gray (Vickie).

Albert Walter Gray, both of Columbia; and Kenneth Neil Gray (Sandra), of Lexington; two grandchildren, Mason Statom and Ella Statom; his companion’s children, Sherrie Bowman (Doug), Debbie Graham, and Zorrana Dicesare (Jeremy); 10 grandchildren; and a large number of great-grandchildren. On Thursday, September 21, at one o’clock in the afternoon, the funeral service will be held at the Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown, with Dr. David Dick serving as the officiant. Following the conclusion of the funeral service, the interment will take place in the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
