Barry Andrews Obituary, Death – On Thursday, June 20, 2019, Barry Andrews, age 56, of Knoxville, who formerly resided in Newton, New Jersey, passed suddenly unexpectedly. The Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus in Knoxville was one of Barry’s places of worship, and he was a committed Catholic. In Virginia, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and despite the distance,
he remained as involved in the organization as he could. After earning his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Montclair State University, Barry has spent the past 20 years working as a corporate controller for ARC Automotive. His education includes both undergraduate and graduate work in accounting. In addition to his deep affection for all kinds of animals,
Barry had a strong interest in the historical geography and American history. His father, John Andrews, had already passed away when he was born. His wife, Rose Andrews, his mother, Joan Andrews, and his sister, Laura Talton, all of Fairfax, Virginia, as well as two aunts, Audrey DeGraff of New Jersey and Kathy Rinhuls of McLean, Virginia, and a number of relatives, are among those who are able to carry on Barry’s legacy.
Sacred Heart Cathedral will be the location of the memorial liturgy that will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 am. Memorial contributions can be made in Barry’s name to the Young Williams Animal Shelter, which is located at 6400 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37919.
