Susannah Cheyenne Obituary, Death – It is with heavy hearts that we come together to remember and mourn the tragic loss of two individuals, Susannah Cheyenne Truax, aged 27, of Bunker Hill, and Logan Gibson, aged 25, of Kendallville, whose lives were abruptly taken in a devastating accident on U.S. 24 at Bruick Road on Thursday, September 14, 2023.
The sudden and tragic loss of Susannah and Logan has left our community in shock and mourning. The collision, involving a truck hauling a trailer and a semi, resulted in a catastrophic outcome as it crossed the median, leaving both vehicles in a state of wreckage.
Susannah Cheyenne Truax, affectionately known as Cheyenne, was a beloved member of the Mexico Fire Department, and her untimely passing has left a void within the department and the hearts of her colleagues.
