Pearl Fisher Obituary, Death – On September 18, 2023, at the Spring City Care and Rehabilitation Center, Pearl M. Fisher, 94, of Spring City, Tennessee, passed away. She was born in Washington State on September 1, 1929, to the late Nelson and Anna Fantz Burch. While he was in the service, Pearl and her late husband Harold Curtis Fisher traveled across the country. Later, in 1975, they relocated from Norfolk, Virginia, to Spring City, Tennessee. She enjoyed gardening, making crafts, and playing the piano.
Particularly her grandchildren, Pearl loved her family. She also adored canines. At the Bethel Baptist Church in Spring City, Tennessee, Pearl belonged. Dixie Razor and John M. Fisher, Pearl’s children, died before her. She is survived by her children James Fisher of Grandview, Tennessee, Patty Fisher, Jennifer (Daniel) Frank, Gina Pounds, Jake (Jill) Fisher of Rockwood, Tennessee, and Barbara (Thomas) Garcia of Hartland, Wisconsin. She also has sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Her brother James Reed of Washington also survives.
The Rev. John Gann will preside over the funeral services on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of the Vaughn Funeral Home. On Saturday, September 23, 2023, the family will host visitors in the chapel of the Vaughn Funeral Home from 12:00 pm to 3 pm. On September 25, 2023, at 12:30 PM, she will be laid to rest in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family requests memorial contributions be given in her honor to Bethel Baptist Church, 285 East Roddy Road, Spring City, Tennessee 37381, in lieu of flowers.
