Landon Johnson Car Accident, Death – On Wednesday, a tragic incident unfolded involving a school bus and a car, leading to the loss of a young child’s life and injuries to six others. The collision was both sudden and severe. Following the car crash, the teenage driver, a passenger, and two additional children who were inside the vehicle were rushed to Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro for medical attention.
Meanwhile, a 12-year-old student from Hairston Middle School and the bus driver sustained minor injuries as a result of the accident. Tragically, at around 4:30 in the afternoon, Kie Landon Johnson, a 17-year-old from Whitsett, Tennessee, lost his life at the accident site on Knox Road, situated south of McLeansville. According to state police reports.
Jacob Almon Larkin, an 18-year-old from Whitsett, was operating the Toyota in the southbound lane of Knox Road when the vehicle crossed the center line, directly into the path of the northbound school bus. This heartbreaking incident has sent shockwaves through our community, leaving us all deeply saddened and in mourning.
