Eric Alfred Obituary, Death – It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Eric Alfred Harrison on September 11th, 2023. Eric, aged 77, peacefully departed this world, surrounded by his loving family, at his residence on Ridgeway Street, Miles Platting.
Eric was a loving and devoted husband to Anne, and his presence was a source of joy to his cherished daughters, Lisa and Beverley. He was not just a father but a guiding light in their lives. Eric was also a beloved father-in-law to James Harrison-Sherlock and James Taylor, whose lives were enriched by his wisdom and kindness.
Eric held a special place in the hearts of his grandchildren: James, Jack, Jessica, and Indiah. He was a caring and adored Grandad who shared countless cherished moments with them. He also had the privilege of being a loved Great Grandad to baby Ziggy, creating yet another generation of warmth and love within the family.
To his extended family, including brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, Eric’s presence was a blessing. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the honor of knowing him.
On Thursday, October 5th, we will gather to remember and celebrate Eric’s life. His service and cremation will take place at 2 pm in the center chapel of Blackley Crematorium. In accordance with Eric’s wishes, we kindly request no floral tributes. Instead, if you would like to make a contribution in his memory, donations to The Alzheimer’s Society UK would be greatly appreciated.
