Damien O’Reilly Obituary, Death – It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our dear friend and esteemed colleague, Fianna Fáil Councillor Damien O’Reilly, over the weekend. Damien’s sudden departure has left us in shock and mourning, and we are struggling to come to terms with this profound loss.
Damien was not only a cherished member of our community but also a highly respected and valued member of the Board of Louth and Meath Education and Training Board (LMETB). He held the position of Chairperson of the Board and dedicated himself wholeheartedly to the cause of education and training in our region. His commitment, passion, and tireless efforts have made an indelible impact on the lives of countless individuals who have benefited from LMETB’s services.
As a member of the Board and its Chairperson, Damien’s wisdom, leadership, and guidance were invaluable. His wealth of experience, boundless energy, and unwavering dedication enriched every project he was involved in. We will deeply miss his profound insights and the positive influence he had on our collective endeavors.
While Damien’s professional contributions were substantial, his devotion to his family was equally significant. Our hearts go out to his partner, Lisa, his children, Carlie and Kyle, his mother, Phil, and the extended circle of friends and colleagues who share in this immense loss. Damien’s kindness, warmth, and genuine camaraderie touched the lives of all who knew him.
